Call for papers for
The2nd International Workshop on Production and Logistics
Organized by JIMA Production and Logistics Research Division
Background
Researches and practices in Production and Logistics is one main stream in Industrial Engineering and Management. Scientific management increased manufacturing efficiency drastically 100 years ago, and now we are facing new challenges in the production and logistics system with continuously growing globalization.
To exchange latest achievement of researches and practices on production and logistics, we decided to organize this workshop, providing platform for several groups, including the group for QCD the iron triangle, the group for environment, the group for risk management or resilience, the group for management science and application. All these groups will also focus on both theory and practices, and seek for possible collaboration with industry.
For this reason, we encourage authors submit papers not only theoretical but also practical research and case studies. We seek papers that address decision making with respect to quality/quantity, cost, due date (QCD), environmental concern / sustainable development, and scientific research and its application on management science.

Abstract Submission
You are permitted only one contributed abstract as the presenting author (speaker). You can be a co-author on other contributed or invited abstracts or papers.
If you need an early confirmation for travel or budgetary reasons, please indicate in the "comments" field on the submission form.
A number of selected papers will be considered to post conference publication on several journals.
